The Highway Patrol has released information on the accident reported by a KMZU listener Friday afternoon in Pettis County. According to the online report, two Liberty residents were injured when Nicholas Dieckman, 22, of Mora Missouri pulled into the path of their vehicle at Highway 65 and 52 junction. The driver, Roger Shaver, 79, and his passenger, Margaret Neth, 76, were seriously injured and flown to Centerpoint Hospital.
A KMZU listener has reported an injury accident at the hwy 65 and hwy 52 jct. just south of Sedalia.
The caller stated, around 2:35 that one vehicle appeared to be severely burned and noted 2 air ambulances were on scene.
If you are near the 65 and 52 jct south of Sedalia please use extreme caution and allow plenty of time when traveling through. A highway patrol dispatcher has confirmed these reports and indicated troopers are working on clearing the scene now.
