A federal grand jury handed down indictments for three Jackson County men this week. Isiah Etienne, 19, and Mikah Labayen, 19, both of Blue Springs, and William Parker III, 20, of Independence are accused in the armed robberies of restaurants and a motel in Lee’s Summit, Independence, and Blue Springs during the months of November and December of last year.
According to the United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, they were involved in a conspiracy to obstruct interstate commerce by robbery at the following locations:
- Chipotle Restaurant at 900 N.E. Columbus Street in Lee’s Summit
- Chipotle Restaurant at 1115 N.E. Coronado Drive in Blue Springs
- Drury Inn at 3830 Blue Ridge Cutoff in Kansas City
Etienne and Parker are also accused in the following armed robbery:
- Burger King at 19501 E. 39th Street in Independence
They each also face three counts of obstructing commerce by robbery, and three counts of brandishing a firearm in a violent crime.
