Jerry Leon Renshaw, 72 of Macon passed away Friday November 20, 2020 at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran’s Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Visitation will be at 10:00 am. to 11:00 am. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Brookfield Church of the Nazarene, Brookfield, MO. with a Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 am. with Pastor Kelly Peary and Pastor Bob Wells officiating. Burial will be in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Brookfield, MO. with Full Military Honors by the Brookfield VFW Post # 4557. The family has requested that all friends, family, and guest to please wear a mask please. Memorials have been suggested to the Angel Wings Clothing Closet and can be left at or mailed to the Rhodes Funeral Home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, MO. 64628.
Jerry Leon Renshaw son of Waldo Cleon Renshaw and Florence Bell (Barrett) Renshaw was born December 11, 1947 in Brookfield, Missouri. Jerry married Sonora Diane Schreckhise on September 8, 1973; she preceded him in death on January 29, 2014. On April 12, 2015 Jerry married Nancy McDaniel in Brookfield, MO. Jerry was a longstanding member of the Brookfield Church of the Nazarene and then became a member of the Macon Church of the Nazarene. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved making cartoon charters out of wood and spending time with his family.
Jerry is survived by his wife Nancy of the home; three daughters, Shannon Davolt and husband Eric of Mexico, MO; Renya Neu of Marshall, MO; and Kellie Westhoff and husband William of Brookfield, MO; five sons, Randy Renshaw of Columbia, MO; Jason Renshaw and wife Miranda of the state of Florida; Nathan Renshaw of Macon, MO; Daniel Renshaw of the state of Florida; and Corey Smallwood and wife Kathleen of the state of Arkansas; one step-daughter, Victoria Helms and husband Andrew of Brookfield, MO; one brother, Gary Renshaw and wife Linda of Warsaw, MO; twenty one grandchildren, Izaq, London, Micah, Boston, Landon, Aylah, Khlowy, Sonora, Trya, Ambria, DeRon, Gabriella, Jace, Riley, Savannah, Kaitlynne, Luke, Morgan, Riley, and James; two great grandchildren, Zianna and Ava; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, late wife Sonora Diane, nephew Mark Renshaw, and two grandchildren Kyle Renshaw and Ashlyee Westhoff .
Services are under the direction of the Rhodes Funeral Home.
