Thompson says they intended to send everything out last fall. “But because of all of this redistricting, and the mess that went along with that, we had to postpone the canvass until now,” said Thompson. They received two grants, one to cover the cost of materials and one from the Secretary of State’s office to cover postage. The overall cost to the County is not expected to exceed $4,000.
