Scott Munsterman

Scott Munsterman tells all on his feelings about this election and his up coming term.  “We are excited,” said Munsterman, “We want to thank all our supports and the voters that went to the polls and believed in us.  I feel like there’s a lot to work on and we can get it done with the help of a lot of great deputies that are currently at the sheriff’s department and working hand-in-hand with the commissioners and all elected officials at the court house.”

A lot of attention is going to be put into making sure Johnson County is running smooth and effectively.  “We are going to continue to work well with the commissioners to make sure that we stay within the budget means,” Munsterman said, “Work with all the law enforcement agency’s, we all have one task in mind and that is protecting and serving the citizens of this great county.  Also we’re going to take a look at the big picture, the sheriffs department and the jail,  to make sure that we are utilizing all of our resources to the best of our abilities.”

The future Sheriff seems to be thankful for the working relationship between his uniformed brothers.  “We are fortunate that we can work hand-in-hand with all of the law enforcement agency’s in the county, we’ve got a good working relationship,” said Munsterman, “Not only with the Warrensburg Police Department, but with the whole Knob Noster, Highway Patrol, and the University of Central Missouri State Police Department and Whiteman Air Force Base as well.”

A powerful last statement, the 2015 Sheriff elect said it perfectly in just 13 words.  “I just want to again thank my family for standing behind me,” Munsterman said, “All the support and the voters that went to the polls and believed in me.  We can do this, we can do better, and we will do better.”
