SPRINGFIELD, Mo – Two Missouri residents are being indicted with charges of mail theft. The U.S. Justice Department, in a statement Tuesday, says the case is being pursued against Larissa A. Brady, 32, and Sheldon Michael Hunt, 32, both of Joplin. It is alleged that 66 pieces of mail, including checks, Social Security Cards, and various personal identification was stolen from 36 individuals during a three month period ending in June of 2015.
On June 8, Brady was allegedly caught passing bad checks at a Joplin Wal-Mart. Hunt is also charged with aiding Brady in that endeavor.
