Peggy Newton, 38, of Joplin was indicted on 25 counts by a grand jury in Springfield, on Thursday.
Newton handled all financial aspects of an interior decorating business, Evergreen & Amber, and is alleged to be involved in a fraud scheme from September 18, 2006, to June 29, 2009.
