The Missouri Secretary of State will visit Chillicothe Monday morning. Jason Kander is kicking off his state-wide tour. The purpose of the visit is to talk with Missouri seniors about protecting their hard-earned savings from investment scams and unregistered investment advisers or brokers.

“It’s important to make sure our seniors are aware of investment scams that could threaten their hard-earned savings,” said Kander. “I encourage everyone to talk with older friends and relatives to make sure they know how to protect themselves from scams. If you have any question, any doubt at all, about an investment proposal or a broker, please call my office immediately.”

Jefferson City, Mo. — Secretary of State Jason Kander will begin a week-long statewide tour of senior centers Monday, December 9th at 11:15 a.m. at the Livingston County Senior Center in Chillicothe.
