LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. — Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol made a traffic stop of a man who was reportedly following too close, earlier on Monday.

At 10:37 a.m. state troopers pulled over 36-year-old Phillip E. Randle, of Kansas City.

Following the stop, Randle was arrested and preliminarily charged with possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

It was also found that Randle was wanted on three Misdemeanor Warrants in Indpendence.

Randle was taken to Lafayette County Jail and subsequently released.
