CLAY COUNTY, Mo. – A Kansas City man is still in custody after allegedly fleeing from police arrest earlier this month.

Richard Putnam, 27, is charged with a class C felony, tampering with a motor vehicle, and a class D felony, resisting arrest by fleeing creating a substantial risk of injury or death.

According to court documents, the incident occurred Wednesday, December 9th, and although Putnam is eligible for release on bond, he remains in the Clay County Jail. Bond is set at 20,000 dollars.
