Brandi Buzzard Frobose is a cattle rancher in Kansas and passionate about her profession.  She received national recognition from several news outlets and her cattle career community by working hard and writing about her passion on her blog under the name of Buzzard’s Beats.

The cattle industry is a tough business. It requires consistent hard work. The profession can be more challenging if you venture out into other professions and positions that help to sustain your passion.

Frobose won the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) 2019 Beef Advocate of the Year Award. An honor she said she didn’t set out to do. Frobose said raising cattle is always what she wanted to do. She said it just feels like a natural progression for her to end up where she is.

Frobose is also the communications director at the Red Angus Association of America. She is passionate about the cattle industry and the good quality of protein cattle provides. The Green New Deal reportedly shed a negative light on the cattle industry and Frobose wanted to get the truth out there.

She is proud of the high quality of cattle raised in the United States. She said the cattle industry is self sustaining and beneficial to the environment. Frobose with her husband have around 50 to 100 head of cattle in eastern Kansas.
