COOPER COUNTY, Mo.—A Kentucky resident faces felony drug charges after his arrest by highway patrol Monday afternoon.

According to arrest records, a state trooper stopped Joey M. Deskins in Cooper County. The arresting officer allegedly found Deskins in possession of 3 oz. of marijuana. Highway patrol suggested felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon. Deskins awaits bond at the Cooper County Jail.
