CALDWELL COUNTY, Mo.- Two Kidder, Mo., residents were reportedly involved in a UTV accident in Caldwell County yesterday that prompted the response of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troop H responded to the scene on Route V, three miles southeast of Polo, Mo., around 2:00 p.m. According to the filed accident report, Dustin Pittensbarger, 33, was eastbound when he lost control of the Polaris Ranger and traveled off the north side of the roadway. The UTV struck small trees, traveled down an embankment and overturned ultimately ejecting the driver.

With assistance from the Caldwell County Ambulance Dustin Pittensbarger was transported to Liberty Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. A passenger in the UTV, Kyndra Pittensbarger, 26, sought own medical attention for minor injuries.
