The Chillicothe Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association will host a breakfast Fly-In on August 20. Spokesperson Cathie Hamilton says the morning meal is both delicious and affordable.
From 9am through 2 that afternoon kids ages 8 to 17 will have the chance to get a bird’s eye view of the countryside.
Hamilton says several pilots participate so more children can have the high flying experience.
The flight is free but Hamilton says donations are accepted and helpful.
Any leftover funds will be used for the organization’s scholarship program. The Fly-In will be held at the Chillicothe Municipal Airport on Highway 36. More details can be found online at the organization’s website.
