A convicted murderer will be sentenced today in Johnson County. Christopher D. Hendren of Centerview was found guilty after a two day bench trial, of murder in the second degree, armed criminal action and burglary in the first degree. The court ordered a sentencing assessment report to be completed prior to sentencing and the defense attorney has already filed a motion for new trial. Both of these matters must be heard prior to the court handing down a sentence. Hendren and co-defendant, Jacob Feldman, were charged with killing Jacob Feldman’s father, Walter Feldman at this Centerview home in January of 2012. KMZU/KRLI’s own Andy Campbell will be in the courtroom to report on the outcome of today’s hearing.
