MOBERLY — A man brandishing a knife in the ER of Moberly Regional Medical Center early on Wednesday, Jan. 13, is now in custody. The 24-year-old man has been arrested for first-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Moberly police officer and Randolph County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call of a man wielding a knife inside the ER. Officers apprehended him outside of the emergency room doors without incident, according to a Moberly police news release. He’s currently being held without bond in the Randolph County Jail. Formal charges are pending.
