A Johnson County resident is facing charges after he reportedly crashed his vehicle early Monday morning.  According to the Highway Patrol, Johnathan Meierhofer, 20, of Knob Noster, was driving on Highway 13 around 3:00 a.m. when he traveled off the side of the road, struck a mailbox, went off the other side of the road, and overturned.  He was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center with minor injuries.  Meierhofer was booked and released on charges of driving while intoxicated, minor visibly intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, and careless and imprudent driving.
