Road repair projects and courthouse maintenance are continuing to keep the Lafayette County Commissioners busy.  Click to hear KMZU’s Kristie Cross talk to Presiding Commissioner Harold Hofflander:

Harold Hofflander

“We are finalizing all the plans for Panther Creek bridge which is southeast of Concordia,”said Hofflander,”That project will probably start in the next 30 to 60 days.  We just completed new placing new piping in the courthouse that had a leak.  Those pipes had been there at least 75 years and now they are back up and running.  Also, we had some lightning strike a couple of months ago and we had to replace a lot of computers and most of the phone system.  We did not have any structure damage to the courthouse, but we had an electrical charge get in.”
