A 29-year-old Higginsville man is scheduled to be arraigned early next month following a hearing earlier this week.  Nathanial Schlup faces one felony count of distribution or possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.  He was arrested on September 12th and is being held on a $15,000 bond.  His arraignment will be held on November 7th.

A Lafayette County judge also set a date for a Corder man to be arraigned.  According to court documents, Mark Beard, 20, is being held on a $10,000 bond on a felony second degree assault charge.  Beard will next be in court on November 21st.
