LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. – An arraignment earlier this week in Lafayette County was postponed until January, because the defendant does not have an attorney.

Thomas Lee Edwards, 47, of Roscoe, Mo., was charged in September with felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Court documents indicate that Edwards was arrested during a traffic stop in Higginsville. Methamphetamine and marijuana was found during a search of his vehicle.

The next hearing for Edwards was set for the morning of January 9, 2019.
