Press Release from Lafayette County Habitat for Humanity

We hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday season.  We will be in the process of building another house in Higginsville.  Groundbreaking is expected in Spring, 2012.
As we prepare for a new year, we invite you to get involved in our community effort to build decent houses.  Lafayette County HFH, Inc. will host a training session for new and current volunteers on Saturday, January 7th, 2011.  This is an opportunity for new volunteers to explore committee options, and see where you might like to become involved.  Current volunteers will receive committee updates and discuss plans for 2012.
The Lafayette HFH, Inc. Training Session for Board and Committee Members will be held January 7th at Salem UCC Church, 15th & Main in Higginsville.  Registration and coffee will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.  The program will begin at 9:30 a.m., and conclude at 1:00 p.m.  A complimentary lunch will be provided.  Board members will meet immediately following lunch for the January board meeting.
