The annual Lafayette County Republican Lincoln Dinner is Thursday. The reception will start at 6 p.m.  at the Wellington Community Christian Center, in Wellington.

Two distinguished speakers, Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder and Ed Martin, will headline the annual Lafayette County Republican Lincoln Dinner slated for Thursday, March 3rd.  The event will be held at the Wellington Community Christian Center, 710 West Highway 224, Wellington.

The Lieutenant Governor will speak on a variety of topics including his efforts to overturn the sweeping law Congress passed last year that mandates individual health care insurance coverage.  Peter Kinder of Cape Girardeau is the 46th Lieutenant Governor of Missouri, elected in 2004.
As Lieutenant Governor, Peter Kinder serves as the official Senior Advocate for Missouri and is the Chairman of the largest sporting event ever brought to the state, the Tour of Missouri professional cycling race.

Ed Martin of St. Louis is traveling the state explaining his first-hand knowledge of voter-fraud in the St. Louis area, facts about ACORN, and his new Election Integrity Project for 2012. Martin is the former chairman of the Greater St. Louis City Board of Elections and former Chief of Staff to Gov. Matt Blunt.
Appetizers and a reception will begin at 6 p.m. with a dinner by Nadler’s Catering and program to follow. The Jazz Band from Wellington-Napoleon R-9 School District will entertain during the reception. A short live auction is also scheduled.
