Lafayette County 4-H has scheduled 4-H Achievement Day contests to take place on various dates in June without spectators, due to Covid-19.

Events include king and queen interviews, fashion review and judging contests, public speaking, general specialty demonstrations, electric theater and working demonstrations. These contests will take place in Higginsville at the American Legion Building, the 4-H Barn in Fairground Park and the Extension office basement. King and queen candidates, along with fashion revue will take place on June 12. All demonstrations will be on June 13, and public speaking contests on June 14. To follow the regulations set by the University of Missouri Extension, a maximum of 10 people will only be allowed at each event. Awards will be announced via Facebook.
