The Lafayette County Transportation Advisory Council met in Higginsville Thursday night to come to an agreement on ten projects they would like to take to the regional meeting to be considered for presentation to MODot. Each county in the Pioneer Trails Region has been to choose ten areas of transportaion need for their county. All of those forty projects will then be presented to the Pioneer Trails Regional Planning Commission to decide how many and which ones of the projects presented will be presented to MODot in the future. According to Higginsville Mayor, Bill Kolas it may be June before the region hears which projects are approved.
