MISSOURI– Two separate events at Lake of the Ozarks warranted hospital treatment after watercraft impact accidents yesterday.Water

According to reports from the Missouri Highway Patrol Water Division, Diana Riahi, 61, of Lenexa, Kansas, was riding in a boat around 4:35 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016, at the 21 mile marker when her watercraft struck a large wave, causing her be thrown into the air and impacting the vessel.

Much of the same situation occurred approximately two hours later when Nevada, Missouri, resident Deborah Asberry, 55, was tossed from the SeaDoo she was riding after striking a wave, falling back onto the water bike.

Both women were taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
