Multiple hearings and a case review are scheduled for Friday.  The Independence man accused of kidnapping, raping, sodomizing an 8-year-old has a case review at 8:30 a.m.  Randy Lande, 46, was arrested in February.  Lande is being held on a $200,000 bond.

Two preliminary hearings are set for 9:00 a.m. in Livingston County.  Corondrick Evans, 31, will go before a judge on charges stemming from an incident in August, according to court documents.  Officers reported finding a portable methamphetamine lab inside a vehicle following a traffic stop.  Evans has been charged with attempting to produce or manufacture a controlled substance.  He had been arrested one week prior on a felony charge of aggravated stalking.  Evans was also charged in June on allegations that he violated a protection order and third degree domestic assault.  The court reduced his bond on the drug charge in October to $25,000.

The second case is related to a stabbing in Wheeling on Sept. 26.  Shannon Jackson, 26, was taken into custody on charges of domestic assault and armed criminal action.  According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, the victim told deputies Jackson threatened to kill her. She was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Jackson is being held on a $100,000 bond.
