GRUNDY COUNTY, Mo. — A driver from Laredo was seriously injured in a crash in Grundy County Thursday evening.

An accident report indicates that Andrew L. Epperson, 57, was driving his pick-up truck south on Route JJ, about one-half mile north of Route E, five miles east of Laredo at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Epperson reportedly travelled into the northbound lane before his vehicle began to skid and swerved to the west. His vehicle then crossed the center line and off the west side of the highway before traveling down an embankment. Epperson’s truck then rolled over twice, coming to rest on its wheels.

Epperson, who was reportedly not wearing a seat belt, was seriously injured in the crash. He was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment.
