RAY COUNTY, Mo. – A pre-trial conference is scheduled today for a man who displayed a firearm in Ray County.
Police in Lawson say Aaron D. Haggins, 25, was seen pointing a handgun at a man and woman in April of 2017. The weapon was later found in a bedroom closet where two children were located. Haggins is charged with two counts each of first degree assault, armed criminal action and endangering the welfare of a child.
The parties will appear in court at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, to prepare for a May 27, 2019, jury trial.
