Press Release from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office plans on adopting 2 families this Christmas season as the sheriff and employees have raised $500 for this project. Our original goal was to do the “Secret Santa” type event but we have received a significant number of names of families or seniors who are truly in need, that we have decided to share this information with our citizens and businesses who may be financially able to donate to this cause and help us help more families, and seniors. If you are interested in donating money then please contact either Sheriff Steve Cox, Deputy Sindy Fitzpatrick, or 911 Coordinator Cathy Peniston at 660-646-0515 by December 18, 2011. If you are willing to donate we will make certain we stretch your money to provide the essentials needed for these people. Your donation may be tax deductible through a local 501(c)(3) approved organization. We greatly appreciate your thoughts and consideration for support.
