LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo – After an arrest Sunday afternoon, Septmeber 18, in Lafayette County by Missouri Highway Patrol, 15 citations were issued to the driver of a motorcycle, from Lee’s Summit.  Among the more serious items,  resisting arrest by flight, a felony, assault on a law enforcement officer, no insurance, and no registration.  29 year old Richard Weld was also sought for a misdemeanor warrant out of Jackson County.  He is detained in the Lafayette County Jail for a 24 hour investigation.

Additional informal charges include:  failure to obey law enforcement, driving while suspended, no endorsement, speed, careless and imprudent driving x2, stop sign violation x2, failure to title motorcycle, displaying plates from another vehicle, and no title.
