Lexington Parents and school patrons are invited to participate in a study group Tuesday evening. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Ph.D. Student Chris Johnson:
Johnson said she is completing research on the impact of the four-day school week. She plans to use the information gathered to help other school districts in their decisions on the four-day school week.
“I’m just interviewing some focus groups. Just asking them, more or less, their story of how they feel the four-day school week was implemented. How it came about, what they think about where they’re at at this time, the good things and the bad. And just using that for my background for my research on the four-day school week,” said Johnson.
Interested parents and community members are invited to participate in the anonymous focus group at 5:30 p.m. in the Lexington Middle School.
