The Lexington St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held Saturday afternoon. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Lexington Tourism Director Dan Cambridge:
Anyone interested in participating can meet at 13th and Franklin Streets at 1:00. The parade begins at 2:00. It will travel down Franklin and Main Streets.
“There are no prizes, just a lot of blarney, as they say,” said Cambridge.
About twenty floats typically participate each year, along with marching bands and horses.
