The Lexington Police Force is hoping to sell two of its old vehicles. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Police Chief Don Rector:
They are getting rid of two 2011 Chevy Impalas because they recently received four new vehicles. Rector said they have about 40,000 miles each. “They’d make a good family car, as well as a police cruiser,” said Rector. They’ve been rotating out vehicles every few years since 1995.
He is hoping for about $13,5000 a piece, but he said that price is negotiable. Rector asked anyone interested in the vehicles to call him at (660) 259-6321.
