Dozens of residents gathered for a town hall meeting Tuesday.

A proposed 63-cent tax levy increase to fund the school district was a hot topic of discussion at the Lexington Town Hall Meeting Tuesday night.  Mayor Jerry Brown says the extra financial strain causes concern for people in the community who are on a fixed income.  Other items discussed included the four-day school week and city code enforcement.  An announcement was made that This Old House Magazine named Lexington as the best place in the state to buy an antique home.
