Tonight’s concerts will be held at the Lexington River Front Park with gates opening at 4:00 p.m.   “We will have to musical groups,” said Nicodemus, “They will be playing mainly 60’s and 70’s Rock and Roll.  One is Beams and Eads, which is a local group here that is fairly well known in the area.  The other will be a Kansas City group called Waspmen.”

Everyone is invited to come and rock out.  “It will be a really fun time,” Nicodemus said, “This is our first one, so we’re excited to see how it goes.  I think it’ll be a great time for all and i know that we have some great music.”

Alcoholic beverages and food will be served.  Admission is $5 per person, 12 and under get in free.  Proceeds benefit Lexington Tourism and Lexington Parks.  For more information, visit the events Facebook page.
