LIBERTY, Mo.- An apartment fire in Liberty forced almost a dozen people out of their homes in the overnight hours Saturday.
Emergency personnel responded to a call about a fire at 203 N. Withers around midnight. According to the report, firefighters arrived to a building fully engulfed in flames and occupants were evacuated from their balconies.
The fire ultimately burned two buildings that had a total of two dozen apartments.
Reports also indicate no occupants were injured in the fire. Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
