The Livingston County Fair Board has added two members to their hall of fame. Click to hear KMZU’s Bob Allen talk with Livingston County Fair Board President Steve Radcliff:
Radcliff says the people enshrined weren’t always on display in the community, often those honored worked behind the scenes. According to Radcliff, the first inductee, Eugene Ewing, was known by his nickname, “Cotton”. Eugene Ewing was a founding member of the Fair Board and was instrumental in securing a permanent location for the fair.
The second honoree is Charlie Stedem, a former fair board president. His children and grand-children show livestock.
The two were honored with a ceremony on September 1st.
