This year’s Livingston County Fair will get underway Friday evening at 6:30. Click to hear KMZU’s Brian Lock talk with 4-H Youth Development Specialist Sean Murphy:
“We have a full week of activities starting this Friday, July 12th with a truck and tractor pull,” said Murphy. “Then we will hit the ground running Saturday and Sunday with lots of 4-H and FFA events. Then starting on Monday, we will have a lot more of the traditional fair events with the exhibit judging, the shows, the livestock, all of those types of things.”
A full schedule of the fair’s events can be found at http://extension.missouri.edu/livingston/schedules.aspx.
“One big hit we always have is the truck and tractor pull, and that is Friday night at 6:30 and the cost for that event is $10,” added Murphy. “Another thing I’m particularly excited about is on Wednesday night, we actually have a lot of the youth that are going to be selling their projects.”
The events are being held at the Livingston County fairgrounds in Chillicothe.
