Livingston County resident Matt Hopper has joined the Board of Equalization. Click to hear KMZU’s Bob Allen talk with County Clerk Sherry Parks:
Parks explained the role of the board as an oversight committee for property valuation. Commissioners voted Tuesday to add Hopper to the board which is comprised of elected officials and two members of the public.
According to Parks, the Commission will be in southern Livingston County Thursday, inspecting county roads near Blue Mound township for brush issues and gravel replacement.
In other news, Route JJ will be closed Thursday just east of Highway 65 for a culvert replacement. Drivers are advised to find an alternate route.
