An inmate at the Livingston County jail was tased last week after allegedly threatening a staff member.  According to a report from the sheriff’s department, the detainee was asked to calm his aggressive behavior several times prior to the taser being used by the jail administrator.  During a follow-up interview, the inmate told the chief deputy that he planned to hunt down the employee after being released from prison.  The suspect has been returned to the Department of Corrections and they have been notified of the incident.
