LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo.– According to a recent release, Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Forrest O. Triplett Animal Shelter and the Livingston County Humane Society.   The Department said they understand how much pets can and do mean to their families and too often they see the concerns and even tears when a pet becomes missing.Livingston-County-Sheriffs-Office-Patch-200x188

The combined goal is to help recently found animals quickly return home and assist other people in adopting a new pet. The LCSO website (www.livcoso.org) and Facebook page will be updated weekly with new information provided by the shelter.

If you are interested in checking for a lost pet or adopting a new addition to your family you should contact the shelter located at 1400 S. Mitchell Avenue in Chillicothe or call 660-646-1006.

The costs of adopting a new pet are minimal but gives a lifetime of memories.
