LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo. — The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office has completed its investigation into a student threatening another student at Chillicothe High School with a knife.
According to a news release from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation was opened April 30 by the school resource officer at Chillicothe High School.
A student reported that they had been threatened with another student with a pocket knife at the school. No one was injured during the incident, the report said.
The victim told the officer they had been harassed by at least one student and had a hat taken during the altercation.
The resource officer has met with the students and parents of the students involved, as well as with school officials and local law enforcement.
The students identities are not being released and disciplinary action will be taken within Chillicothe High School.
