Every year twenty youth are selected to attend the National 4-H Congress. Members are selected on a combination of scores from a written recognition form and interview.

Attendance at the National 4-H Congress is a culminating event for many member and is a highly sought after award.

Alex Engeman of Montrose and Zachary Parsons of Warrensburg were selected as part of this year’s Missouri delegation. This experience allows 4-H members to learn new skills through workshops, hear from nationally recognized speakers and experience Southern culture. Congress will be held in Atlanta Georgia in late November. For more information on 4-H visit 4h.missouri.edu or contact the Johnson County Extension Center at 660-747-3913.
