PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. — An incident Monday afternoon involving two vehicles injured a young child, according to the Highway Patrol.
The incident happened just west of Durley Road on Route D in Pettis County around 3:25 p.m. Monday when two vehicles traveling in opposite directions passed each other.
A strap came loose from one vehicle and reportedly struck multiple windows on the second vehicle, driven by Linda Howard, 59.
An occupant in Howard’s vehicle, a 6-year-old, was listed with minor injuries.
Treatment was refused at the scene. Howard was uninjured. A description of the other vehicle and its driver was unavailable in the accident report.
