On September 29, 2011 Lt Colonel Don Koonce came to the Litton Agriculture Education Center to speak with our first hour students. 35 students set in silence and complete attention to what Koonce had to say. He spoke of the significance of WWII and how it is important to be patriotic and stand up for your beliefs. Koonce is now retired from his service in the National Guard and trying to speak in every public school in Missouri.
