LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo. — A crash in Livingston County Saturday morning sent a driver from Ludlow to an area hospital.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, troopers responded to Route D, just north of LIV 416, four miles north of Ludlow around 7:57 a.m. Saturday to reports of an accident involving a single vehicle.
A car driven by John S. Damerell, 64, was southbound on D when the vehicle ran off the west side of the roadway and began to slide.
Damerell then hit a roadway sign, causing the car to travel down an embankment.
Damerell, who was wearing a seat belt according to the report, sustained moderate injuries in the crash.
He was taken by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe for medical attention.
