The Macon Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting their 2015 membership banquet. “We have a hypnotist comedian who is going to be a part of our evening’s events, so it will be a lot of fun,” Dwiggins went into light detail on the night’s planned events, “We also give awards for our business of the year and then our volunteer of the year. Plus, this year we have a couple of new awards that we will announce that evening that we are very pleased to bring to the community and to those who have worked so hard being Chamber members and community members.”
The March 13th event will have a new twist in entertainment in comparison to years past. “Chuck King is the actual individual who is coming to visit with us,” “He came very highly recommended. We each got to experience some of his talent and things like that, previewed. We had a good time listening to Chuck as he entertained the whole Board of Directors and we all got on board to have him be a part of our Chamber entertainment.”
The evening gets underway at the Macon Elks Lodge beginning with a social hour at 6 p.m., followed by a prime rib dinner with awards and entertainment at 7 p.m.
Sponsorship tables and individual tickets can be found at the Chamber office. Individual tickets are $35, table seating for 8 is $250, and a 12 person table runs at $375.
The last day for ticket sales will be Saturday, February 28th. For more information, visit the Chamber website or call the office at (660)-385-2811.
