accident-2-2015-iconMACON COUNTY, Mo.- At around 8:30 p.m. last night, December 28, 2015, and accident occurred in Macon County on US 36 highway just west of US 63 highway. According to the accident report Charles Donahue, 49, of Bevier, MO, was heading westbound when he lost control on the ice covered roadway, traveled off the right side of the road and struck the median cable barrier. He then traveled off the left side of the roadway before his vehicle came to a rest. Donahue along with his passenger Brenda Hawkins, 46, also of Bevier, MO, were transported by Macon County Ambulance to Samaritan Hospital in Macon. Donahue was treated for moderate injuries and Hawkins was later transported to University Hospital in Columbia for serious injuries.
