A Clarence woman will appear for preliminary hearing proceedings this afternoon.  Teresa Smith, 21, faces a felony charge of endangering the welfare of a child stemming from alleged events in August of this year.  She, along with Bevier residents Michael Coons and Jessica Shoemaker were booked on charges in mid-September.  Both Smith and Shoemaker are accused of active participation in the use of methamphetamine with a juvenile while Coons is charged with rape and endangering the welfare of a child.

Smith is due in a Macon County courtroom at 2:30 p.m.
