MACON, Mo. — A preliminary hearing was held yesterday for a Macon County man accused of manufacturing drugs near a school in Bevier.
Court documents state officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Bevier, Missouri, on March 7. 25-year-old Wilson McGowan was found in a truck which contained his alleged methamphetamine lab.
The truck and lab were located within just over 1,000 feet of Bevier High School. McGowan is formally charged with manufacturing a controlled substance within 2,000 feet of a school, classified as a felony B.
An arraignment is scheduled for September 25 at 2 p.m.
